25 Sleeps To Go!!
On this fine Wednesday, I will be sharing with you my favourite video games. These will be from PC, PS4, Wii and any other console thing. Most of them are oldies but goldies!
Honourable Mentions:
I've never done honourable mentions before but as I was looking through my games I found some old ones I haven't played in a really long time and it got me reminiscing so here are a few that didn't make the cut into the top 10 but I still love.
* Cooking Mama (DS)
* Bratz Rock Angels (PS2)
* Disney Princess (DS)
* Toy Story 2 (PSP)
* Sitting Ducks (DS)

10. Nintendogs (DS)
Because having three dogs in real life wasn't enough I had to have more on my DS to play with and feed and wash and take for walks. Actually, I rather quite enjoyed washing my dogs, I preferred it when they were really dirty because then it took longer to wash and it was more realistic. I mostly enjoyed having King Charles as pet's I have two in each colour. They are the cutest dogs.
9. Sing Star (PS2)
Technically sing star isn't a game it's an activity but as you need a game console to play it I thought I would add it anyway. My favourite disks we had for Sing Star was always Disney and songs from the 80's. We also had one for Queen. I now can honestly say I know all of the songs by heart and can whoop anyone's butt.
8. Pokemon (DS)
Pokemon has been around for a really long time, mostly in Card form or on the DS but recently it has become an app for your phone, which for a while everyone was obsessed with. Including myself, I have to say. My favourite version of Pokemon was always on the DS and was Fire Red. Fire type Pokemon are my favourite so of course, I had to have Fire Red for myself. I also quite enjoy the TV series.
7. Plants Vs Zombies (PC & PS4)
When EB Games first came to our town my brother and I went in for a look and we came out having gone half in Plants Vs Zombies for the PC. We took in turns defending our gardens and beating the Zombies. Although a lot of the time I was in control and he sit next to me and warned me of any incoming Zombies I may not have noticed. We both completed it many times over the years. Now, it has evolved and there is a new version out, which I haven't had the pleasure of playing yet but it looks amazing. I have also playing Plant's Vs Zombies on PS4 which brought a new level of difficulty with the different controls but was still just as fun to play.
6. Mario (DS & Wii)
Mario, in general, is just amazing. I couldn't pick just one Mario themed game to put on this list or on just one platform. I have played many Mario-themed games in my time, some better than other. Mario kart on the Wii is on of my favourites, I get very competitive when I play it and hate when my own team members beat me. However, I also loved playing Super Mario Bros on the DS, I played the first three and now on the newer DS model they brought a new version out, which I have played and completed which I can say I have never done.
5. Cities Skylines (PC)
If I'm honest the only new love on this list is Cities Skylines. All the rest I have known about for years and have been playing for a long time on and off. But Weirdo introduced me to Cities Skylines last year and this year I actually got it for myself, I love playing it and making my own Cities. I have a really good imagination so it really comes in handy during these types of games.
4. Minecraft (PC & PS4 & XBOX)
Minecraft has been a thing for a while, but not as long as some of the others I've mentioned. It's a world of all things square, even the animals are square. You use your imagination and build great things to pass time or unimpressive things to survive. I first played on my cousins Xbox then, on my brother's computer then on PS4 and now I mainly play it on PC. I started just playing on my own in my own little world but now I can play online with all my friends and as a group, we can build wonderful things.
3. Grand Theft Auto (PC & PS2 & PS4)
I first played GTA on my brothers PS2 I don't remember what the game was called, but I made him do all the missions and I just drove around in my stolen cars and bashed people up for money. Now I play on my own computer, online and I basically do the same thing. but I don't bash up the people for money I have a Weed business for that and I don't need to steal cars I have two garages full of them as well as motorbikes. GTA has so much potential and freedom now it's wonderful. you can do whatever you like and play with people from different parts of the world. Weirdo and I play together and we have made many new friends.
2. Ratchet And Clank (PS4 & PSP)
Ratchet and Clank have been around since 2002. I have played all that they have brought out, although I have never fully completed one, until the new remastered version they brought out. I have only one level to go and part of me doesn't want to complete it, that's why I haven't done anything in three months since I started. I have racked up a lot of Ratchet and Clank playing time in my days. I have even played Special Agent Clank which was brought out on PSP, never completed that one either. Maybe one day I will complete one but for now, Ratchet and Clank will have to wait.
1. The Sims (PC & Wii & DS & PSP & PS2)
The Sims 2 Apartment Pets (DS), The Sims 2 Pets (PSP), The Sims 3 (Wii), The Sims 3 any expansion or stuff pack for the PC I had them all.
I have been playing Sims for a very long time and I have played it on I would say every platform. From DS to Wii, to PS and back to PC. All variations of the Sims revolve around building a place to call home, getting a job and basically living a life through someone else whom you can control everything they do. It used to be very simple but now it has evolved into something magical. the Sims 4 has been around for almost two years now and it has so much stuff to offer and gives you so much more leeway and potential. You are also able to share your creation with people from all over the world and I think that is just wonderful.
