Saturday Baking
MeatBalls; Take 2
Saturday 30th January 2016
Last week I decided to take another stab at making meatballs and honestly I believe they are much better this time. Although I did change a few things I thoroughly enjoyed myself while making and eating them.
This time, the meatballs only had grated carrot, parsley flakes, garlic powder, tomato paste and an egg to combine. They were moist they didn't crumble and they soaked in the sauce longer which probably helped with the flavour a lot more. They weren't bland in the middle like last time either. I used thin spaghetti noodles which mean you didn't have as much pasta on your fork with your meatball.
I cooked them the same way a few at a time in several batches. Then I mixed all my sauce ingredients together, adding in the meatballs and letting them soak and warm through in my sauce for about 15 to 20 minutes. I served them with thin spaghetti noodle and grated cheese.
I'm really enjoying experimenting with meatballs, I have gotten a few new cookbooks over the last few weeks and am going through finding meatball recipes to find out what works.
I hope you enjoyed reading about my meatball adventure this round. Until nest time have an amazing day.
Bye!!
