Foodie Friday
Foodie Friday
Friday 29th January 2016
Breakfast:
Got up this morning to rain and wind and coldness. For an Australian summer, this is funny. I served myself a bowl of Greek honey flavoured yoghurt, with a muesli mix we got in the cereal section at Coles. I also added some blueberries and the last of our chopped up strawberries. To keep me warm I had a latte. It was a nice warm touch.

Lunch:
As I said at breakfast it's cold today so I am settling for a cup of soup. Croutons Creamy Chicken and Corn. It's my favourite cup of soup. Unfortunately, we didn't have any bread for dipping but that's okay.

Snack:
We went out and did a little shopping this afternoon, and while we were out Weirdo suggested getting a hot drink from my favourite cafe. Jamaica Blue. They have the best white hot chocolate and assortment of freshly baked cakes. Fluffy and I have spent many a Winter day there sipping on a white hot chocolate and munching on a slice of cake. As it was only Weirdo and I we just got a drink each to go, Weirdo had a latte and I a white hot chocolate.
Tea:
I wanted something easy for tea so I just whacked a lasagna in the oven for around 45 minutes. Then served. It's quite a cold day (as I have mentioned
several times already) so just a hot serving of lasagna did the trick. Unfortunately, I haven't properly gotten into the swing of things yet and I forgot to take a picture, silly me.
That's all for today's Foodie Friday until next week have a wonderful day!!
Bye!!
