New Years 2019

Happy New Years!

Tuesday 1st January 2019

"New Year, New You" 
That's what they say this time every year. So people try and start the year off right by going to the gym and starting exercise and eating healthier. But the thrill of the New Year wears off quickly and people are left with gym memberships they don't get rid of just in case they decide to go back again one day.

This year I have a new motto. 
"New Year, Improved Me"
I'm not doing any major life changes just a few things to improve my life the way it currently is. A couple weeks ago I started doing short 2 and a half minute work-outs every morning and night. 5 minutes every day is enough to get your muscles working but doesn't take up a lot of your day. Especially when you have an 8-month old that can crawl like I do.

Something else that I am going to do this year to "Improve" myself is to go through all of the things I own and get rid of some of the stuff I no longer need. I have a lot of pointless items that are just taking up too much space.

One thing that I already do but need to do more, hence the "Improve You" motto, I need to add more vegetable into my diet. I do eat a lot of vegetables but more would be better. Even some raw ones are good. I like to make sticks of carrot and cucumber and eat them with dip. Biscuits with dip aren't really my thing. 

To sum up, this year my plan is to Improve Myself by doing short exercises routines daily, eating more vegetables and cleaning out old unused things. 

This year is going to be amazing because I get to watch my beautiful boy grow.
