Birds

Tuesday 5th April 2016

I remember when I was younger my Mum would tell me about when she would stay at her Grandmothers house in Murry Bridge. She would be woken up early in the morning by the magpies singing. I love that about this country. As I opened this blank post this morning and was thinking about what it should be about, I heard the magpies.

Most people don't like magpies because they tend to swoop you if they have a nest in a tree and you come to close. I've never been swooped by a magpie, maybe that's why I'm not frightened by them. But even if I was I would know why I crossed that invisible line and in their eyes, I had to be warned the only way they knew how.

There are a lot of birds in Australia and most of the are seen daily. Like Parrot's, Gala's, Cockatiels, Kookaburra's, Magpies and Owl's. Just to name a few.

I love birds. I've met people over the years who are frightened by birds and it just seems ridiculous to me.

I've also had a few different birds as pets. Not all of them were Australian natives, but one or two of them were.

It's wonderful having a so many beautiful birds here and being able to live alongside them.
That's all from me this time, hope you enjoyed. Have an awesome day.
Bye!!
