Top 10 Books To Read

My Top 10 Books I Want To Read

Wednesday 29th June 2016

This week's list of top 10 are books I would love to read. Some of these books I actually own are on my bookshelf I just haven't got around to reading yet. Some I actually have started but it wasn't the right time for me so I would like to go back and try again. Anywho, let's get into this list.

10.

The Scorpio Races, By Maggie Stiefvater.
I love Maggie and everything she writes. The Scorpio Races is a book I just really want to read but I've started and it was just the wrong time for me to be reading that book. I had just finished another book series at the time and I was still in that bubble. But now that it's been a while since I've read a book now might be a good time to start reading again.
9.
Hart Burn, By Nora Ephron.
I was watching Tanya Burr on youtube the other day and she had read this book. I have this thing where whenever I hear or read about a book recommendation I have to write the title and author down and read that book. (Because of this I now have a large list) When Tanya was talking about Hart Burn it sounded rather good and I just had to add it to my list of books to read.
8.
Beautiful Broken Things, By Sara Barnard.
This book and the next two on this list were books from Zoe's (Zoella on youtube) book club list. When she was talking about this story it sounded like something I would enjoy, so on the list it went.
7.
All The Bright Places, By Jennifer Niven.
I have heard a few people (not just Zoe) talk about this book and it made me wonder what all the fuss was about, so that is why it is on this list.
6.
The Potion Diaries, by Amy Alward.
This book intriqued me when Zoe was talking about them in her vidoe the other day,  because it is about magic and adventure and these things are appealing to me. I love a good book that isn't quite real life.
5.
First Life, By Gena Showalter.
Weirdo and I were book shopping the other day and I saw this book. The cover looked great so I picked it up to read the blurb and it sounded good, so I handed it over to Weirdo to read and he also agreed it sounded good and he wanted to read it as well. So we got it and now it sits on the shelf waiting to be read.
4.
If I Stay, Gayle Forman.
This is another book that I have started to read a couple of times but I just wasn't in the right groove for it at the time. I hope to get back around to it in the future. I haven't seen the movie for this book yet and I would prefer to read the book before watching the movie. Just so I can create my own opinions and theories before seeing someone else's, turned into a movie.
3.
Blood Dreams, By Kay Hooper
This is a book on my bookshelf and as a lover of all things Vampire the title appeals to me and every time I look at the bookshelf this book jumps out at me. From reading the blurb (paragraph bit usually on the back of the book) I can safely tell you it is not about Vampires but is instead about someone being killed and trying to find out who was responsible.
2.
Me Before You, By JoJO Moyes.
I've seen the trailer for this about a dozen times and I can't wait for it to come out. On Monday I was just cruising around on the internet when I stumbled across a vital piece of information. This is not only a movie but also a book. I was just blown away and imediately added it to my 'To Read' list. So yes.
1.
It Started With Paris, By Cathy Kelly.
This book was actually a gift from Weirdo for Valentines Day and I just haven't gotten around to it. I've started it a couple of times and seem to stop in the same place. In the future, I would love to sit down and just read it from cover to cover, maybe not all in the one sitting but in two or three.
