Doctor Who
Doctor Who!!

Doctor Who has been going on for over 50 years with 13 different actors portraying the Doctor. I haven't been around for that long but the years I have been around about 10 of them I have spent watching and rewatching The new seasons of Doctor Who like a crazy person.
If you've never watched Doctor Who or don't know much about it, I'll give you a little recap.
The Doctor is a Time Lord from the planet Gallifrey. He's is hundred's of years old. It all started back in 1963 when the first Doctor was played by William Hartnell. There were another seven after him, Patrick Troughton, Jon Pertwee, Tom Baker, Peter Davison, Colin Baker, Sylvester McCoy and Paul McGann. They are now classified as the older seasons. Since then there has been five. Starting with Christopher Eccleston, David Tennant, Matt Smith and now we have the lovely Peter Capaldi. There is also the War Doctor played by John Hurt, but you have to watch the show to find out more. ;)
Over the year's The Doctor has had many companions, his granddaughter, Sarah Jane and now the lovely Clara Oswald.
Everyone has a favourite Doctor and companion. Usually, it's the first Doctor you watch. But I don't follow tradition. My favourite is the 10th Doctor, aka David Tennant. One of the many reasons he is my favourite is because he licks substances to identify them. Which probably makes me sound rather weird. Oh well, I'm a bit of a licker so it makes sense.
It's hard to choose favourites when it comes to companions. I like most of them Clara is pretty awesome but. My favourite companion would definitely have to be Donna Noble. She is basically the queen of sass. She is also the Doctor's friend. Everyone loves the Doctor but some love him more than others. Which is why Donna is my favourite. Because after everything and above all else, you will always have a true friend.
After nine seasons (I think it's nine, hmm) and fifty plus years of magic and mystery, it's still running strong. It's not just episodes either there are movies, awesome mugs (I have one, along with a sonic screwdriver) there is also books and a lot more.
That's probably enough about Doctor Who today. I might add onto it at a later date. I hope you enjoy reading up on my rambles, until next time. Have a wonderful week!!
