Foodie Friday!!
Foodie Friday!!
Friday 2 October
First I want to say Happy October!!
Next I want to say, this is not going to be a post about what I ate today as I am away at the moment and don't actually have access to the internet to post what I ate today. This is a scheduled post. I am sorry to disappoint. Instead, I was going to post some pictures of delicious food but I thought that would be a bit mean. I also didn't want to leave it without posting so I thought I would tell you what happen this week.
Monday:
Casual, day, it was, I painted the wall skirting in our hallway. The walls were painted a couple months ago when we moved in but the weather got rather colder and paint takes ages to dry when it's cold. I woke up and it was warm so I thought I would paint.
I was also, suppose to write a fun post for you guys earlier in the day, but I forgot due to playing Sims, so 35 minutes before midnight I sat down and typed out a quick post.
Tuesday:
(The day I'm writing this). Today was warm so I did the washing (so exciting). While Marvel (my kitten) watched me hang it out to dry from his new cat cage. That sounds kind of mean, but it's basically an enclosed area outside that he can come and go through a window inside. He loves it and it's rather difficult to get him inside at night because he loves it so much.
Wednesday:
Is the Smelters Picnic. Which if you are from Australia might know about. Every year, most of the larger towns through a show for all the people to attend.
The town where I live call, ours the Smelters Picnic. Adelaide call, theirs the Adelaide Show. Go all out. Originally the Smelters Picnic was held in Crystal Brook for all the people working at the Smelter to have a day off for fun and to spend with their families.
There are rides to go on, fairy floss and hot donuts to buy as well as like 50 stalls to buy things from. A mixture of food, clothes, show bags, and knick knacks.
After the Picnic, I am heading up to Miranda where my parents have a shack. I will be staying until Sunday. the reason I am going is because it is school holidays here and my friend who lives in Adelaide, let's call her Banana whom I never get to see is coming down and staying with her parents in their shack at Miranda. So I am very excited to spend a few days with her. Yeee!!
And I honestly don't know what I will be doing for the rest of the week. I will most definitely post about it on Monday and share some pictures.
I hope you enjoyed this Foodie Friday post that had absolutely nothing to do with food. Have a fabulous weekend!!
