Painting!!
Painting!

Painting.
There are different kinds of painting.
Finger painting, spray painting, painting with brushes, or sponges, or leaves, or using stencils.
You can paint anything. Using whatever method you choose to use.
Using different kinds of paint. Water paint, oil paint, acrylic paint and any others.
Painting is a fun way to destress, pass the time, a present for someone, or necessity.
I have been painting recently for necessity. A couple months ago I moved out of my parents house into a place with my Weirdo. He recently bought the place and it may have been sturdy and not need any renovations straight away one thing it did need though was painting.
Personally I don't see why.
I believe the green of the walls in the lounge/living room were beautiful and the green of the ceiling matched the walls perfectly.
One of the bedrooms (which is now the study) has a medium blue for the walls and a darker blue for the ceiling. No one had a problem with the blue.
But, unfortunately, Weirdo wanted the green painted. I didn't go down without a fight. Originally Weirdo agreed to leave the part of the wall above the mantel in the lounge room green. But after paint shopping I convinced him to let me paint it red instead.
Now our living room has a normal white ceiling, cream walls and a bright red feature above the mantel. Red and black for the main colours in there. Red cushions to match the wall. Black revamped matching TV cabinet, coffee table and DVD/Bookshelf. As well as two matching black and white wicker chairs.
Our hallway is also painted cream and white like the lounge. The black and white theme has also been carried in there with a rug runner thingy and starting tomorrow (when I start painting) a red front door. That was also part of the agreement when I let Weirdo paint over all of the green in the lounge.
The study is two shades of blue and makes me feel a little like I'm going to drown. So I broke it up a bit with my two double sided DOCTOR WHO posters and a whole bunch of large sheets of paper I painted quotes on that I brought with me from my old bedroom. It feels rather homely in here now.
The main bedroom has a black metal framed bed, with black and white furniture. That looks lovely with the lilac painted walls.
The second bedroom is currently a guest bedroom with poop coloured walls that need to be painted but isn't a priority at the moment. I do win here as later down the track we will be painting it green. (Score)!!
The kitchen, laundry and bathroom are a faded yellow colour that is going to be painted cream in the next couple weeks. With a wall feature in the bathroom.
Well, that concludes my explanation of all the painting we have done and will be doing in our lovely new house.
Tomorrow on my youtube channel there is going to be an extra video of me playing the Sims4 with THEmickTHEgun, aka Michael, aka my Weirdo ;)
Have a wonderful week!!
