Giving At Christmas

24 Sleeps To Go!!
Today is the first of December.
Christmas is coming. Do you know what that means?
Christmas is coming. Do you know what that means?
Spending ridiculous amounts of money on your friends and family.
Christmas is meant to be a time of giving.
You know that saying "Give and you shall receive"?
Well if you keep on giving then you can't really receive because you'll just have to re-give what you received. It's a complicated matter that I often ponder.
But today I am going to talk to you about giving presents at Christmas time.
You don't have to 'break the bank' as they say, to give presents. Not all of your presents have to be shop bought. You can make wonderful homemade presents for people and it will mean more because you actually took the time to make it yourself with love (or boredom).
When I was younger I remember writing a story that I really liked. It was a Christmas themed one. I then copy that story out onto several pieces of paper and gave to my relatives as a present for Christmas. It was the first book I ever wrote and I was rather proud of it as well.
What I'm trying to say is that if money is tight or you are trying to save then you don't have to spend a lot of money on presents for people. You could just buy them something that you know they will like. For instance, Weirdo likes snack blocks of chocolate and he doesn't buy it for himself very often, so for a surprise I might buy him a block. It doesn't have to be food either. It could be a new shower gel that smells nice and you think they will like it or a stuffed animal. Anything is a good present if you believe they will like it.
Most people will appreciate the thought in the gift as well, as long as you put thought into it that is. ;)
I hope you got some inspiration or something out of this post. Sorry, it was a day late. I uploaded a new sims 4 video on my youtube channel today as well as a new Christmas themed video tomorrow. I hope you had a great weekend and have a wonderful week.
Bye xx
