15 Sleeps To Go!!
Breakfast:
It was rather chilly when I got out of bed this morning. So I made myself a big cup of hot milo in my Christmas mug to warm up.
Lunch:
I prepped everything for breakfast but I didn't realise the time and I had to get ready to go to an appointment. By the time we came back (including a few stops on the way home) it was lunch time. So our breakfast became our lunch. I made some scrambled eggs with cheese, mixed herbs and some diced tomato I cooked before mixing with the eggs. On toast with some grilled bacon and spicy red sauce. With you may have guessed it a coke. Yum, yum, yum.
Tea:
Tonight I decided to attempt at making savory meat and dumplings like my Aunty makes. In case, you don't know. Savoury mince is; mince broken up and cooked in hot water with vegetables, herbs and any other ingredients you would like. Then you make dumplings plop them in the mix, add the lid and boil for 20 minutes without removing said lid. Drain the liquid and serve with your preferred condiments.
That is basically it. Unfortunately, my dumplings were a little big and didn't quite cook all the way through but I still enjoyed it all together with some more spicy red tomato sauce.
For a first attempt, I don't think I did to bad, even if I say so myself.
Snack:
This evening I snacked on a couple cherries (of course I didn't take a picture of them, though). They were juicy and lovely. I also drank my 1-litre bottle of water.
