Distractions...

Distractions

When you almost forget to post because you get distracted by Sims....
I have good reason, though!! No. No, I don't. I'm just trying to convince myself I've spent several hours playing Sims for a reason, when really I'm only playing because I haven't in ages and I've discovered a new youtube channel and I'm a little obsessed.

Yesterday or the day before I was looking for a new youtube channel to follow because my subscriptions were uneven (yes, I'm that weird), and I stumbled across 'The Sim Supply' which is not only an Australian youtuber (which is exciting) but is also a Sims gaming channel and I just love it!!
So, I've been watching a ton of the videos and things on there and just really wanted to play Sims myself, so I did. That is why I didn't post earlier.

Whenever I play Sims after a long time I always start a new family and this time was no different. First I made a woman named Eliza, (Weirdo helped me make her) next was her husband, Richard. That's how the Hamingworths were born!!
SinceI started Eliza has published 5 books and is working on her 6th, as well as being level 5 of Handyness. Richard is a Lieutenant in the Police workforce and has his own cruiser. He also is pretty handy in the kitchen and is very athletic.
Meanwhile, Richard and Eliza have welcomed baby Patricia into the world. Who has actually aged up into a toddler and is being potty trained.

When I play Sims (my secret obsession game), I get distracted easily and forget about everything else (like feeding myself). I get way into the zone, which a lot of people probably say about their favourite game. It's the same with certain books, once you start you can't stop. Sometimes it's bad, other times it's not as bad. But the moral of the story, you shouldn't get to lost in your game because it may take over your life.
Story Time!
Back when I was in Primary School (ages ago) my mum had spent the better part of her day playing DiddyCon Racing (a car, hovercraft and plane racing game) when you are doing a race there are boosts you can get to help you win and if you take your foot off the pedal when you hit it you get an extra boost. Well, this particular day my Mum decided to drive and pick my brother and I up from school. On the way home she went past the kindergarten and on the road there were some white zig zagged lines painted and my Mum still being a little in game mood took her foot off the accelerator hoping to get a boost but instead stopped, which is probably a good thing. To this day, that is one of my mums favourite game stories to tell. Along with the one where she got so in the zone playing Wii Sports that she hit my Dad with the controller. My brother and I have actually had to ban her from the Wii on multiple occasions because she gets a little carried away.
*sigh* Parents.

Wow, this turned out longer than I expected. Sorry for the lateness. I will be on time on Wednesday. Until then, have an awesome week!!
