Saturday Food

Veggie Food Chat

Saturday 6th February 2016

Sometimes I regret my decision for being a vegetarian for the month when I have tea with my family and my Dad cooks marinated chops on the BBQ. Normal chops don't excite me as much but anything marinated is just my favourite. The worst part I actually dreamt  that I ate some then I realised that I shouldn't have. Part of me in the dream was glad because it was so delicious but, it's February and I made a commitment to myself to go without meat.

Most day's it's easy I don't eat a lot of meat throughout the day so I don't have to worry about that. It's Summer at the moment so whipping up a quick meatless salad is usually the way I go. Or having some tomato and cheese on salada's. Which actually sounds rather good right now and I might have some for lunch today.

One thing I can't decide on is whether flavoured meat things like soup or 2-minute noodles from the shop count. Probably. Just another thing I have to give up. Oh well, it's already the 6th only 23 days to go.

Take away is another issue. We don't have it all that often but when we do there isn't a lot of meatless choices here. My choices are Subway (which isn't always fast) or chips and gravy (which isn't much faster). Then there is the Pizza dilemma. If we order a pizza the three of us share. Weirdo gets's half supreme and Fluffy and I get half Hawaiian. We share slices of the whole pizza but everyone has their preferred side. But we can't order pizza because everyone wouldn't get what they wanted. Or I'll miss out completely.

Doesn't matter really would just be easier to have a toasted cheese and tomato  sandwich.

Okay so this was technically a food post although not really a recipe or anything. Close enough. I hope you enjoy reading about my food ramble, have a wonderful day.
Bye!!
